Senora Lake, You were my Spanish teacher back in the late 1960s at OTHS. I still recall you telling us how you left Cuba and how you could not practice law here, so you taught Spanish. I'm glad you did, because I went on to work with Mexico on wildlife issues that the two countries share, and my knowledge of the language helped cooperation. I live in Virginia now, and my sister sent me the sad news because we were talking about our high school teachers recently, and she (who took French) remembered I mentioned you. I remember more about you than almost any teacher I ever had in high school, and it all was for good things. Mi maestro, gracias y descansa en paz.
