Obituary for James Whitlock

James Whitlock, of Boynton Beach, Florida, previously from Ocean, New Jersey was born September 30, 1977, and passed suddenly at home on November 17, 2017.
A graduate of Ocean Township High School Class of 1995, Jimmy proudly Captained the golf team with an outstanding golf record. Jimmy was a Golf Professional and worked in the golf industry for most of his life. He also worked at his father’s company, James Packaging, for many years. Jimmy was a talented player and won the New Jersey State Father/Son Golf Tournament twice, playing proudly with his father. Jimmy’s love of golf was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. He was very charismatic and had the best laugh. His quick wit and fantastic sense of humor made his family and friends chuckle often.
He was predeceased by his father Arthur James Whitlock and his grandparents, Theodore and Helen Lord and Madelon and William Ficks.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Anne Whitlock of Boynton Beach, FL; his mother, Joan Whitlock of Ocean, NJ; sister, Janet Dahl (Norman) of Branford, CT; brother, Brett Ernish (Renee) of Ocean, NJ; nieces and nephews, Sydney, Sawyer, Emerson and Harrison; cousin, Marilyn Blazovsky of Princeton, NJ and many other cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and his cat, Mikkens.
Jimmy will be dearly missed by all who loved him and we know, without a doubt, he is playing the best round of golf with Big Daddy in Heaven.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-5 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Monday at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, West End, Long Branch.
