Josephine  Maggio
Josephine Maggio, 82, of Neptune City, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
She was born in Castelpoto, Italy and immigrated to this country in 1959 and lived in Neptune City for the past 52 years.
She was a seamstress and learned her trade in Italy. JoJo was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Sons of Italy, Mt. Carmel Lodge #1216, both in Asbury Park.
JoJo’s joy in life were her children and family. Her home and kitchen were always welcoming to everyone.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Anthony Maggio in 2013; her parents, Antonio and Maria Storzieri; sister, Antoinette Leming and brother, Cosimo Storzieri.
Surviving are her children, Patty and her husband Tony DiFlorio, Tony Maggio and Antimo Maggio; 2 sisters, Linda and her husband Kim Glashan and Anna Quagliato and 5 grandchildren, Danielle, Nicky, Cristina, George and Augie.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 5-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 am Friday at Our Lady of Mt.
