Rachel Discepola
Rachel Nancy Discepola, 88, of Ocean township, died on Friday, March 10, 2017. She worked as a bookkeeper and in personnel management. She was born in New York City and lived in Oakhurst. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Plinio Discepola; her parents, Joseph and Mary Pappalardo and 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Surviving are her three children, Dr. Joseph Discepola, Andrea Plotts and Dr. Patrick Discepola; her grandchildren, James, Gregory, Rene, Joseph, Andrea, Patrick, Paul and Rachel and 12 great-grandchildren. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
