Carmela J. Natale, 86, of Tinton Falls, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Barnabas Health Hospice, Long Branch.
She was born in Brooklyn and moved to Kingston, PA when she was two. She was a graduate of Kingston High School, 1944 and received a BS in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg State Teachers College in 1948. She taught high school in Oakville, WA and then taught for 3 years at Star of the Sea Elementary School in Long Branch.
Millie was a communicant of St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church in West Long Branch and was an active member and trustee in the Sons of Italy-Mt. Carmel Lodge in Asbury Park, a member of the West Long Branch Leisure Club and was active with the Search Auxiliary for Autistic Children in Ocean.
She was predeceased by her husband, John F. Natale; her daughters, Marie Natale-Moran and Carmella Natale-McGreehan and a grandson, Thomas Kelley.
Surviving are her sons, Frank and his wife Lisa Natale of Wall, John and his wife Gina Natale of Eatontown, Anthony Natale of Long Branch and Michael Natale of West Long Branch and 5 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Friday at St. Jerome Church, West Long Branch. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com
