Anastasia Kallias, 88, passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2018 surrounded by
her family. She was born on January 15, 1930 in Ethiopia and later immigrated to the United
States from Greece in 1962. Anastasia was a long-time employee of Garden State Shipping in
Perth Amboy for twenty years. A devoted housewife, mother and grandmother, she is
predeceased by her husband of fifty-three years Nicolas.
She is survived by her two children, Cathy and George, son-in-law, Jim, and daughterin-law,
Sue. She was a loving Yia Yia and is survived by her grandchildren, Jimmy and his wife
Kristin, Nicole and her fiancé Mike, Priscilla, Ali, Brianna and Demi. Also surviving are her four
siblings, Mary of Athens, Greece, John of Phoenix ,Arizona, Tula and Lena of Carpi, Italy , and
her loving sister-in-law, Maria of Phoenix, Arizona. Anastasia is survived by many loving nieces
and nephews.
