Aris D. Mijares, 80, of Ocean Township, died on Monday, May 14, 2018.
He was born in the Philippines and came to Red Bank in 1989 before moving to Ocean in 2000.
He was a communicant of St. Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church in Eatontown and a member of the Philippino American Club and BLD Charismatic Group.
Aris is survived by his wife, Lilia; 7 children, Marites, Reynaldo, Peter, Alberto, Rosemarie, Anna Lee and Peachy; 6 brothers, Cesar, Rufino, Danny, Angel, Rizal and Catsby; 2 sisters, Remedios and Aurora and 16 grandchildren
He is predeceased by his parents, Catalino and Pacita Mijares and 3 sisters, Angelina, Lolita and Donna.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Thursday at St. Dorothea’s Church in Eatontown.
