Shirley Ann Gavriil, 67, of Neptune City, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. She was born in Long Branch and lived in Neptune City for over 40 years. Shirley worked for Verizon for 30 years before retiring 16 years ago. She was a proud mother of her twin sons. She was a caring and supportive friend to many.
She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Ocean.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aris Gavriil and her parents, Albert and Shirley Irons.
Surviving are her sons, Ioannis and Athanasios Gavriil; 3 sisters, Cindy Shields, Joyce Rovegno and Mary Petracorro; 3 brothers, Albert, Thomas and Gordon Irons and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday at St. George Greek ORthodox Church in Ocean Township. Burial will follow at St. George Greek Orthodox Church Cemetery in Neptune.
