Marian Ruth Hurley, died Monday, January 15, 2018 after a brief illness, she was 92 years old. "Mamie", as she was known to most people, had a sharp wit and loved to laugh. A life-long resident of Oceanport, she was born at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch and worked for many years at the Fifth Avenue Cleaners and later at Morgan’s Flowers, both on Main Street.

Marian was a member of the Oceanport United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Frederick in 2010; her parents, Merrill and Ruth Morgan; sister, Virginia Cook and brother, Richard Morgan.

Surviving are her 3 nephews, Thomas Morgan, Robert Morgan and Richard Cook and her niece, Susan Cook.
