Obituary for James J Falcone, Sr.

James J. Falcone, Sr., 93, of Asbury Park, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
He was born and raised in Staten Island, NY before moving to Asbury Park.
He joined the Army Air Corp in WWII and served in the Pacific until the end of the war as a B 17 radio operator. After moving to Asbury Park, he was an electronic technician at Camp Evans in Wall for 45 years before retiring in 1988. He served as treasurer of the Asbury Park Little League and coached the Red Sox for 10 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Theresa Falcone and 3 brothers, Rudy, August and Michael.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Joanne West Falcone; sons, James Falcone, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Sacramento, CA and Robert Falcone of Ocean Grove; brother, John and his wife Marion Falcone; sister-in-law, Joyce and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-5 pm Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Saturday at the funeral home followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Neptune. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
