Concetta “Connie” Riccio, 92, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 11, 2017.
She was born in Galgliato, Italy and came to this country in 1955 living in Oakhurst for 57 years.
She was head cook for the Ocean Township Board of Education for over 25 years before retiring. She loved to dance and sing. Connie was a communicant of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church in West Long Branch and a member of the Altar Rosary Society at church.
She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Cesare in 2002.
Surviving are her children, Anna Marie Mattern, Gisella Dalton, Dr. Dominic A. Riccio and Paul Riccio; a sister and two brothers, Antonietta, Enzo and Gianni Giannotti; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
