Obituary for Lucille Bellavia

Lucille Bellavia, 92, of Long Branch, died on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.
Born in Newark, she lived in Belleville, Oakhurst and in Deal before moving to Long Branch 15 years ago.
She was the owner and operator of Fifth Avenue Dress Manufacturing in Long Branch for 35 years before retiring to spend more time with her family, and to follow her favorite baseball team, The New York Yankees.
She was a communicant and a volunteer at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch and a member of the Older and Wiser Club and St. Vincent DePaul Society.
She was predeceased by her husband, Armando Bellavia; her parents, Phillip and Florence DiSturco; brother, John DiSturco and sister, Phyllis Szesko.
Surviving are her children, Lucille and Vincent Longo; Philip and Kim Bellavia and Joseph Bellavia; sisters, Florence Bongiorno and Elizabeth Della Torre; 7 grandchildren, Robert Layer, Jessica Hu, Andrew Cirlincione, Philip, Jr., Joseph, Sophia and William Bellavia along with 3 great-grandsons, David, Samuel and Connor.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:45 am Saturday at St. Michael’s Church, West End, Long Branch followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport.
