Jeanne C. Strollo, 96, of Wall Township, died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
Born and raised in Deal, she lived in Asbury Park and Ocean Township before moving to Wall in 2009.
She was a service assistant for NJ Bell in Asbury Park for 31 years before retiring in 1983.
Jeanne was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Deal and a member of the Cartonian Club at the church, the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Woman’s Club of Asbury Park, the Friendship Club of Ocean and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Deal Fire Company.
She was predeceased by her husband, William in 1984; her parents, Anthony and Helen Carroll; sister, Constance Covert and brother, James Carroll.
Surviving are her children, William Strollo, Jr. and his wife Marjorie of Bradenton, FL, Robert Strollo and his wife JoAnn of Oakhurst and Barbara Murray and her husband Rodney of Oakhurst; sister, Helen Lane; 4 grandchildren, Stephen Strollo, Jenna Strollo-Caramanica and Chelsea and Sloane Murray and a great-granddaughter, Laila Caramanica.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 10 am until her funeral service at 12 noon on Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township.
