Obituary for Bernice Trafecante

Bernice Trafecante, 87, of Toms River, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
Born in Bronx, NY, she lived in Belleville and Nutley before moving to Toms River in 1992.
She retired in 1995 as an assistant manager of First Fidelity Bank in Nutley after 23 years.
Bernice was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church in Berkeley. She had an artistic talent for needlepoint and crocheting; she was an avid NY Mets and NY Knicks fan and she enjoyed attending Broadway shows and visiting Atlantic City.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 year, Victor in 2012 and her parents, Jacob and Rebecca Posner.
Surviving are her children, Dr. Jeffrey V. and his wife Linda Trafecante, Mark Trafecante and Mary Ann and her husband Michael Freeman; brother, Saul Posner; sister, Maxine Vidal and 4 grandchildren, Kate and her husband Tom DiChristopher, Michael and Alex Trafecante and Michael Freeman.
