Margaret Ann “Penny” (Hennessey) Siciliano, 65, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at home.
She was born in Long Branch and grew up in Monmouth Beach before moving to Oakhurst in 1983.
Penny was a graduate of the Shore Regional High School and Long Island Bible Institute.
She was an active member of the Searchlight Church in Long Branch and an accomplished leader in Bible study and women’s groups.
She was known by family and friends as a selfless woman of great compassion who deeply cared about people, a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Penny shone brightly with the faith of a life completely dedicated to her love for God.
She was predeceased by her father, Daniel I. Hennessey.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Gavin J. Siciliano; sons, John and Andrew Siciliano; her mother, Gloria Hennessey; 2 sisters, Debby (Ken) Walsh and Katie (Rev. Pat) Mahoney; 2 brothers, Dan (Laura) Hennessey and Tom (Gilliane) Hennessey; her mother-in-law, Marie Siciliano and her brothers-in-law: Gerry (Paula) Siciliano, Rick (Betsy) Siciliano, Tony (Pamela) Siciliano, Tim (Myra) Siciliano, Chris (Lisa) Siciliano and Randy Siciliano.
Relatives and friends are invited Monday, July, 17 to visit at the First Assembly of God Church, 220 Sycamore Avenue in Shrewsbury. Visitation 5:30-6:45 PM, Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
