Obituary for Kenneth A. Olson

Kenneth A. Olson, 57, a lifelong resident of Long Branch, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
He was a self-employed do it all contractor. Kenny would take on anything. You needed him, he was there. Your problems were always more important than his own. He painfully lived his life with one goal in sight, to raise his girls, Alana and Morgan, of which he did an outstanding job. He is with the Lord now, and did the best he could and will hear “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”
Son of Lee and Peggy Olson; father of Constance Barler and her husband, Tom, Ken, Jr., Alana, Morgan and Shonne Farrow; sister, Sharon Sisco; niece, Tricia Olson Thompson and her husband, Deon and children, Micah, Glenda and Deon, Jr. and 2 grandchildren, Thomas and Daisy Barler.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kenneth Olson Fund, 41 Hastings Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, to benefit his children, would be greatly appreciated.
