Condolence: Flex and I worked together at the CS&TA Lab Evans Area, Ft Monmouth, NJ starting in 1964. The highpoint of that relationship was our work on the security project at the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. We were members of a team that included Frank Denise. The security at Lake Placid was successful.Flex was a smart and good man. He will be missed and may he rest in peace. Donald Blue

Condolence: For years, Felix and Elsie volunteered with us at the Meal at Noon soup kitchen in Long Branch. Our kitchen is small, crowded and hot with lots of activity as we rush to get everything ready for our opening at noon At the far end of the kitchen table, Felix works silently seemingly oblivious to all the activity around him. You see Felix's job is to slice the ham and slice the turkey ..........and he does it with SUCH focus, SUCH precision that you think maybe it's because of the engineer in him. Or, maybe it's because of the love. Thank you Felix from all of us. May God bless you and reward you richly.

Condolence: Thank you Mr. Lavicka for being one of those fathers that you always appreciated speaking with as a kid growing up. It was always a treat to come inside the house to say hello when picking up Matt to go out for the evening. It was a pleasure for me to know you and to hear your insight on anything. I'll always remember the wild ride you drove us on to Shea Stadium to see the Jets and Patriots play back in the 70s. RIP.

Condolence: Dear Dad, Thank you for all the wonderful memories you have given us! Too many to list! I am so glad that we got to go to the Czech Republic with you and had you as our personal translator. It is a beautiful country. And recently to the Atomic Testing Museum in Nevada. Those memories are with us forever! Thank you so much. Your "Legacy" goes on! We love and miss you so very much. Thank you for being the best Dad in the world and helping us with our journey through this life. You will be missed. Love You!

Condolence: Jill, Matt, Paul and of course Mom, We are deeply saddened by the loss of Felix. We all loved Felix like he was our father and grandfather. He was full of love and fun and there was always a laugh or corny joke to be had when he was around. He truly loved his family. He was very proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was always ready to dance, play tennis and travel. Most of all he always showed us how much he loved and respected our Mom even though he was Mr. Bickerson to her Mrs. Bickerson! We are sure going to miss the one and only Felix! Love Ronny, Margaret, Dan & Jeff
