It is so very difficult to find the right words to express how special Mary Beth was to our Shore family. Just read the heartfelt tributes from her students to begin to understand how influential she was. Mary Beth was a wonderful and caring teacher. She supported her students, but she also spoke truthfully and bluntly to them. She could tell a story like no other, especially about her beloved grandchildren. I always told her she should write a book about her family exploits. Mary Beth was funny, insightful, and truthful. I admired her honesty and her humor, especially in the face of the challenges she faced in life. What I remember most: she did not suffer fools; she loved coffee; her students were a priority; she adored her husband Paul; she always made me laugh and she loved to laugh; her stories about her siblings and her early years; her warm and beautiful smile. I loved working with Mary Beth, and I learned so much from her. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, children, grandchildren, and all who knew and loved her. Mary Beth lived a life worthy of honor and praise. I loved her and will never forget her.
