Helene T. Osborn, 80, of Wayside, left this world peacefully, following a brief illness, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
Born in Scranton, PA, she was a resident of Wayside for more than 50 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Florence (Gilhool) Donder and two sisters, Ann Donder and Peggi Pepsin.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 56 years, David H. Osborn, Jr.; her sister, Dee Grasso of Simi Valley, CA; her brother-in-law, Thomas Pepsin of Lake Ariel, PA; her sister-in-law and husband, Mary & George Siver of Marlboro; her children, William D. Osborn of Long Valley, NJ, Eileen and Richard Hogan of Wayside and Patricia Osborn of Largo, FL; her bonus children, David H. III and Maureen Osborn of Leonardo, Richard and Debbie Osborn of Long Branch and Kerri and Leo Medina Of West Long Branch; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Her greatest pleasure was awaiting the weekly arrival of two of her great-grandchildren, Travis and Liam, who would swoop in to request cookies and chat with her about anything and everything.
