Marie A. Godshall, 88, of West Long Branch, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.

She was born in Long Branch and lived in Long Branch and Ocean Township before moving to West Long Branch 25 years ago. Marie worked in collections at CitiBank in Eatontown retiring 28 years ago.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Verna Luongo, son, Donald Godshall, grandson, John Luongo, her parents, John and Lucy Cosentino; 4 brothers, Tony, Paul, Emilio and Alexander Cosentino and a sister, Gloria Guidetti.

Surviving are her son, Alvin and his wife Sue Godshall; 6 grandchildren, Cynthia and her husband James Brandtjen, Merideth Flores, Marie Barber, Matt and his wife Dana Godshall and Christopher and Emily Godshall and great-grandchildren, Candace and Jimmy Brandtjen, Jr., Emilio and Pacifica Flores and Connor Godshall and Bella and Livvie Luongo and AJ and Lylah Barber.
