Victor "Babe" F. Lettieri
Victor “Babe” Lettieri, 89, of Ocean Township, died Monday, January 9, 2017.
He was born in Jersey City and lived there before moving to Ocean 29 years ago.
He worked for Western Electric for 30 years before retiring 25 years ago. Babe was an avid bowler. He served in the US Army in Germany.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol; his parents, Edward and Emilia Lettieri; brother, Nunzio; sister, Frances Burner and nephew, Edward Tornatore.
Surviving are his sister, Lena Tornatore and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Friday at Holy Innocents Church in Neptune. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
