Obituary for Caroline DeRose

Caroline DeRose, 95, passed peacefully with her daughters by her side on Sunday, December 25, 2016.
Caroline was the loving wife of the late Ralph DeRose and beloved mother to Angela Levy and Carolyn DeRose Clark. Caroline was also a grandmother of 2, Dr. Mark Morey Levy and Adam Andrew Levy, Esq. and a great-grandmother of 9. She was born in Newark and resided in Springfield, Elizabeth, Toms River and recently Wall Township.
She worked at Steinbach’s Department Store in Elizabeth as an expert gift wrapper. Her skills were admired and appreciated by all especially at Christmas time.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Thursday at St. Michael’s Church, West End, Long Branch. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside.
