Frances Romanowski, 82, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died Monday, November 28, 2016.

She was born and raised in West Nanticoke, PA. Married in 1959 to Joseph A. Romanowski, she lived and raised her 5 sons in Willow Grove and Pipersville, PA until 1983 before moving to NJ where she lived in Tinton Falls and in Oakhurst with her loving husband and family.

She was a communicant of St. Anselm’s Roman Catholic Church in Wayside, NJ.

She was predeceased by her son, Joseph, her parents, Charles and Louise Panisiewicz and her niece, Patty Panisiewicz.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Joseph; 4 sons, Michael and his wife Lisa, Theodore and his wife Liz, Steven and Tommy Romanowski; daughter-in-law, Maggie Lubcke; brother, Charles Panisiewicz and his wife Sara Hermansky; 14 grandchildren, Racheal and her husband Doug, Hunter, Courtney, Theodore, Gabrielle, Joseph, Mary, Caroline, Stefan, Zachary, Danielle, Nicholas, Sierra, Jennifer and 2 great-grandchildren, Douglas Jr. and Olivia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt; she leaves many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass 11 am Friday at St. Anselm’s Church in Wayside followed by burial at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
