Basile Tzanakis, 93, of Oceanport, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016.
He was born in Port Said, Egypt to Caliope and John Tzanakis. He was a district manager for Siemans Church Institute, Port Newark. He was a long time member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Ocean.
Basile is predeceased by his wife, Virginia; son, John; and his parents.
Surviving are his son, Nicholas; daughter, Annie; adopted grandson, John; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 6-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral services 10 am Friday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Ocean Township followed by burial at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
