Obituary for Richard Earl Williams Sr.

Richard E. Williams, Sr., 64, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Neptune, NJ died while visiting family on Tuesday, March 21, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
He was born in Neptune and lived there before moving to Sarasota, FL and then to North Port, FL. He was a Little League coach in Neptune and in Sarasota. He was an avid bowler and former treasurer of the Tuesday Mixed Bowling League. He loved to bowl, play mini golf, the lottery, the NY Yankees and his family and his two dogs, Sam and Jeter.
He was a produce clerk at Publix in North Port retiring in 2013. Prior to that, he was head teller at Midlantic National Bank in Neptune and Asbury Park for 30 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, his high school sweetheart, Jean Van Mater Williams in 2011; parents, Earl and Dolores Williams and brother-in-law, Louis Edelstein.
Surviving are his sons, Richard E. II and his wife Bernadette, Robert E. and his wife Tearshea, Ronald E. and Raymond E. and his wife Brook; sister, Linda Edelstein; brother, Russell E. and his wife Betty; 8 grandchildren, Dawson, Emily, Adian, Patricia, Alexus, Kendall, Kennedy, Jeanie and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews including, Russel A. and Jessica.
