Obituary for Anna Mae Vaccaro

Anna Mae Vaccaro, 85, of Ocean Township, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

She was born in Spring Lake and lived in Neptune and Allenhurst before to Ocean Township in 1956. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Asbury Park.

She was a loving wife and dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Celeste Vaccaro in 1991 and her parents, Charles and Lena Attardi.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, James S. Vaccaro, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Reinhold and her husband David of Neptune; son, James S. Vaccaro and his wife Jo Ann of Ocean; sister, Rose Marie Metrokotsas of Florida; 6 grandchildren, David (Becky), James, Leanna (Will), Jillian (Brendan), Jenna and Kristofor and 4 great-grandchildren, Cambria, William, Elodie and TJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 pm Monday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road in Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 am Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Asbury Park. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Neptune. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Allenhurst Fire Department and First Aid Squad, 318 Hume Street, Allenhurst, NJ 07711.
